PM Modi's message of being 'Vocal For Local' and self-reliability as the country emerges from the shadows of Covid-19.

The campaign 'Be Indian Buy Indian' will encourage all Indians to buy 'Made in India' products by using only some specially curated creatives on the social media platforms. The campaign will also encourage citizens to look for Made in India tags just as they check manufacturing date and MRP of items before buying any product. This simple principle, if followed, will help the country to rebuild its economy and become self-reliant.

Indian companies like Bisleri, Parle Products, Patanjali, and Amul had figured out the value of being a Swadeshi company, new Indian startups are yet to learn the ‘Vocal for Local’ is an advantage. 

For those of you who have tuned out the news to maintain sanity, on May 13, 2020, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi incited the nation to buy, value, and feel proud of local products. 

“These times of crisis have taught us the importance of going local about buying products, local is what will save us. Even in these life-altering moments, we should not forget our goals. It is time to be vocal for local,” Mr. Modi said. 

Digital-first strategy

The nationwide lockdown during COVID-19 crisis has made us realise the real power of digital platforms. While almost every medium to communicate with your customers was off track, digital was the only way out.
